Coaching Program |
Do you have a challenging personnel issue and need advice from a coach? Are you an emerging leader looking for a mentor? Looking for accessible, high-quality professional development opportunities beyond conferences? The ICMA Coaching Program offers a variety of resources to support local government professionals at every stage of their careers.
ICMA is implementing a strategic shift in its Coaching Program. Beginning February 1, 2026, access to the CoachConnect platform will be available exclusively to ICMA members.
OCCMA encourages members who are currently using CoachConnect to consider joining ICMA by February 1, 2026 to maintain uninterrupted access to the platform.
While CoachConnect will transition to a members-only benefit, several ICMA coaching resources will continue to be available to both ICMA members and non-members, including:
CareerCompass articles addressing timely and critical career development topics
Coaching webinars featuring best practices and insights from local government professionals across the country
Speed Coaching sessions offered at ICMA’s Annual Conference
We welcome feedback on topics that would be valuable to OCCMA members for future CareerCompass content and coaching webinars.
